Important Instructions

1. Click Add Person.
2. Enter the person’s full name.
3. Enter the person’s relationship (Mother, Father, Grandmother, Brother, Cousin, etc.).
4. Continue adding family members as you build your tree.
5. Click Save Tree regularly to save your progress.

Download Your Tree Frequently

Always download a copy of your family tree after making changes.

Use:

• Download PNG for an image copy.
• Download PDF for a printable document.

Downloading your tree protects your work. While we strive to preserve all saved information, website updates, browser issues, device changes, or accidental deletions could affect saved data. Keeping a downloaded copy ensures you always have access to your family tree.

Starting a New Tree

If you want to begin a different family line or start over, click Clear Tree to remove the current tree and create a new one.

Research Tip

Build your tree one person at a time and save often. As you discover new relatives through records, census documents, obituaries, birth certificates, marriage records, and family interviews, return to add them to your tree.
