By creating an account or using member-only features, you agree to the following terms.

Membership provides access to:
The Online Family Tree Builder
Saved Trees & Member Files
Member-only research tools and resources
Discounts on certain record searches
Educational material and guides (as added)
Membership does NOT include:
Free record searches
Free document retrieval
Access to restricted government records
Unlimited consultations
Legal services
All research services are billed separately per request.
🔐 2. Account Security
Members agree to:
Keep their login information private
Not share accounts with others
Not allow multiple households to use one membership
Use strong and secure passwords
If unauthorized access is detected, your account may be suspended for security reasons.
🚫 3. Prohibited Use
Members may NOT:
Copy, steal, or reproduce the Family Tree Builder system
Use the platform for fraudulent activity
Upload false documents or misleading information
Harass or abuse other users or staff
Attempt to access restricted records illegally
Use the site for non-genealogy purposes
Interfere with site operations or security
Violation may result in termination of membership without refund.
💳 4. Billing & Payments
Membership fees are billed monthly
All payments are non-refundable
Missed or failed payments may suspend access
Prices are subject to change with notice
Cancel anytime, but no refunds for previous payments
You will continue to have access until the end of your paid billing cycle.
📁 5. Data & Content Ownership
✔ Your family tree and research notes belong to you.
✔ The Family Tree Builder software belongs to Nativa Genealogy.
You may:
Download your tree
Edit or delete your content
Cancel your membership and request removal of your data
We may:
Remove harmful or inappropriate content
Suspend accounts violating these rules
Maintain backups of the system for security purposes
We never sell or share your personal data.
⚖️ 6. Legal Compliance
Members must follow all state and federal laws regarding genealogy and document access.
This includes:
No unauthorized vital records requests
No attempts to obtain restricted birth/death certificates illegally
No false claims of identity or relationship
No misuse of the platform to impersonate others
Failure to follow these laws will result in immediate membership termination and may result in reporting to the appropriate authorities.
🛠️ 7. System Availability
We strive to keep the website and Family Tree Builder available at all times, but:
Occasional maintenance may occur
Updates may temporarily affect access
We are not responsible for outages caused by hosting providers
We will notify members of major updates whenever possible.

Continued use of the membership constitutes acceptance of updated rules.
