🔎 Before You Submit Your Request
Please read this carefully so you understand how our record searches work.
✔ All searches are billed per search
Each individual search requires time and access to multiple databases, so each one has its own fee.
✔ Official certificates cost extra
Birth certificates, death certificates, marriage records, or any certified documents require an additional state or archive fee (usually $15–$40 depending on the state).
This fee is not included in the research search.
✔ Some records are restricted by state law
Restricted documents may require:
Proof of identity
Proof of relationship
Signed authorization
Notarized authorization (in some cases)
A valid Power of Attorney (POA)
State Vital Records forms
We will notify you before any restricted-request steps are needed.
✔ What we CAN do
We can search for:
Indexes
Archive entries
Public databases

✔ What we CANNOT do (without authorization)
We cannot obtain:
Modern birth certificates

Unless you provide proper authorization or POA.
